Hi Connections and Supporters,

Here’s our update for September 2025.

If you spot anything where you think you can help us, please let me know.

Of course, if we can help you in any way, please ask.

1. Frontend Development

The first version of the SavvyWise interface which accountants will use has come together nicely. People are commenting that it is intuitive and polished.

While we continue to work on the backend before making SavvyWise available to accountants, we have engaged UI/UX experts to help make the interface even better. We can’t wait to show you!

2. Templates

We’ve been creating template prompts that accountants will be able to use over and over in SavvyWise to help with a variety of repeat tasks.

For example, say an accountant needs to prepare a private binding ruling application. They'll be able to use a template purpose-built to assist them with this.

We have completed many templates including for objections, advice file notes, tax research best practices, remission requests, due diligence checklist, email replies and even congratulations message maker for those b'day/wedding/baby cards that make their way around an accounting firm's office. ☺️🎂

3. Embeddings Technical Challenge

We’re facing a technical challenge related to embeddings.

Concisely put, the quality of embeddings directly impacts the search results from our curated knowledge library of authoritative source information. The quality of search results impacts the accuracy of responses from SavvyWise to accountants.

We can use high quality embeddings, however this results in substantial data storage, which significantly increases our costs and would therefore impact our pricing. We have tried to use compression to reduce the data size, but this has had a significantly detrimental effect on search results and therefore is not viable.

We’re currently in the process of searching for solutions to this technical challenge. If you might know how we can overcome this challenge, please let us know.

4. Investors

I had the opportunity to practice my pitch at Morning Startup a couple of weeks ago.

You can watch the three minute pitch here beginning at the 1hr 4min mark: https://player.vimeo.com/video/1109519300#t=1h4m0s

The panel and audience unanimously voted SavvyWise as the winner!

5. Early Sign-Ups

We continue to receive early signups, which are completed here: https://www.savvywise.com.au/early-signup

Accountants who sign up will be the first to access SavvyWise for free during beta.

I’ll send another update next month.

Thanks and kind regards,
